Changes
- Blockable items: Matching disabled filters now displayed — for easier re-enabling (forum topic)
- Added support for item type “media” (will be added in Firefox 3.1 for HTML audio/video tags)
- Regression fixed: Frames are not collapsed in some situations (forum topic)
- Fixed: Toolbar button shouldn’t have the same title as the Tools menu item
- Fixed: Element hiding might change page layout even on whitelisted sites (forum topic, issue still exists in Firefox 2.0)

I don’t know if this has been reported yet, but the “Show tabs on Flash and Java” option knocks one point off the Acid3 test.
As soon as the option is disabled (no restart needed) the point is back (93 with it off, and 92 with it on).
Happens in both 1.0 and this dev build.
Using Minefield/ 3.2a1pre/ 20081204 on Windows XP.

So does that mean we’ll be able to use $media ? I’ve installed this build and have checked, it isn’t offered in the filter wizard. So what does this really mean?

You will be able to use $media – as soon as the Firefox nightlies support it. The change was backed out due to some tests failing.
