Ah, thanks! It was the image selector I forgot.
I have now the following in my userChrome.css:

Only thing I don't get: as you can see in the code the icon for disabled is displayed when the status is "deactivated". And the status "disabled" apparently doesn't mean disabled; what state has ABP to be in to display the disabled icon?
