inquiry about issue reporter

Post by maybee »

1. I have tested it and found out scrollbar at lastest submitted reports.
If the width of columns is reduced a bit the scrollbar should be removed.

2. About Website in a submitted report page
I sent a report has an address
http://search.naver.com/search.naver?wh ... _hty&fbm=1
then the address of website is different from that of orignal site.

does 'website' mean an address of problomatic page?
unless website means it users might enter an address of problomatic page in comment seperately.
how about this?

1. Works fine for me (yes, I switched to Korean). Which Firefox version and which operating system is that?

2. Adblock Plus "censors" all addresses in the report - parameter values are removed. The red star means that something was removed there. This is done to prevent people from incidentally submitting private information.

Adblock Plus: 1.3.1+.20101104 (build 3331e675aa8f), ko
Application: Mozilla Firefox 3.6.12, Gecko 1.9.2.12 build 20101026210630

If problematic pages have parameter values any users might resubmitted its issue reporter to contain full addresses.
I think declaim about this might be needed in entering comment step

Operating system? I guess you are using Windows but the screenshot doesn't look like it - any special theme? At least on Windows 7 with default Windows and Firefox theme it works correctly.

If the missing parameters turn out problematic we might start thinking about a solution. So far it looks like a rare case where you can contact the reporter directly (if he left an email address which is something that most submitters apparently do).

Windows XP
the issue of the scrollbar comes from firefox's theme named 'naver extensions'
many Korean users use the theme.

Yes, with that theme I can reproduce the problem. It appears to be an off-by-one issue somewhere in the Gecko layout engine. Since I do not really want to spend time hunting it down I fixed this by hiding the horizontal scrollbar: https://hg.adblockplus.org/adblockplus/rev/d709c7b4826f
