Adblock Plus and (a little) more

Introducing the new Adblock Plus 3.4: 50% reduction in memory usage and a fresh lick of paint · 2018-10-31 16:02 by Tom Woolford

Today we launched version 3.4 of Adblock Plus. With this version, we’re bringing you an even better browsing experience because we’ve made it easier to block annoying ads. Adblock Plus 3.4 features performance improvements, a clean and crisp design update, and a new and improved issue reporter.

If you look under the hood, the most noticeable change is the memory consumption while using the extension. With 3.4 we’ve reduced memory usage by a whopping 50%! That means you can browse faster and smoother through all your favorite websites, videos and blog posts!

The other big improvement is the new User Interface (UI). The new UI brings a clean and modern aesthetic providing a effortless experience for users navigating the main interface of Adblock Plus. In addition, you now have the option of easily reporting issues by sending us screenshots, if you spot something you think should be blocked online. We really appreciate your support in helping us continuously improve Adblock Plus’ blocking capabilities!

The extension is available for all major browsers. A priceless (literally!) way to be in control of your web experience, without the interruption of annoying online advertising.

If ABP is faster, why are you asking me to use adblock origine https://adblockplus.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=55155#p181378 ?
