Independent.co.uk blocks ABP

The Independent website (www.independent.co.uk) is one of the worst sites for aggressively blocking ABP. It forces you to turn ABP off by blacking out the page and displaying a large anti-adblocker message. If you want the crossword, you have to sit through a video. It used to be possible to avoid the video by turning ABP on as soon as it started playing, but they've got wise to this.

There's probably a script to deal with this but I'm not confident with those, so is it possible to update the filter lists to get round this? (Yes, I know that makes me sound dumb.) In most cases, if a site won't let me in without ABP disabled I make a note never to visit that site again, but the Independent does have some interesting articles.
