[BUG] Using AdBlock Plus with SeaMonkey nightlies.

Postby lissyx » Wed Sep 21, 2005 11:00 am

I was using AdBlock for some time with SeaMonkey nightlies, and it was working like a charm for a long time. I suppose there have been many changes in trunk since some weeks, and then, AdBlock seems broken.

Let me explain.

First, it seems not to block any ad, sometime one is blocked, but it's really not perfect as it was. For sure, ads are in the list of those to block.

Second, when I try to start AdBlock, everything is empty (I mean, no blockable element appear even if there's ads), and worste, "Ok" and "Cancel" button doesn't work anymore.

JavaScript console logs some interesting things :

Starting AdBlock from the link in the bottom right of the window :
Code: Select all
Error: apiConstants has no properties
Source File: chrome://adblock/content/filterall.js
Line: 28

Click "OK" :
Code: Select all
Error: apiConstants has no properties
Source File: chrome://adblock/content/filterall.js
Line: 361

Click "Cancel" :
Code: Select all
Error: flasher has no properties
Source File: chrome://adblock/content/filterall.js
Line: 154

One other funny thing is that in the pref panel of AdBlock, the Status Bar Display radio buttons are *all* checked !

This still happends with 2005092006 build I'm currently running.
