can't click on links in youtube to watch more videos

Post by emailisfun »

Hi,
I am using Windows XP Professional, Firefox 13.0.1 and AdBlock Plus 2.1.1.

At the end of some youtube videos, there are sometimes words like: 'click here to watch outtakes' or 'click here to watch more videos'. However, i no longer can click on those links. when i try to click, it just pauses the current video. if i click again, the current video unpauses.

an example is this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=v176NlO2P2o
go to 3:27 and see where it says 'watch extras'...when i click, it just pauses the video, instead of taking me to the 'extras' video.

Is adblock blocking that? is there a way to disable that?
i have no custom settings on adblock plus..just the default settings.

thanks

Seems to work here.

Perhaps an issue report link (see link below) would shed some light on your problem.

I'm guessing he has turned off annotations. It's the icon to the left of the cog.

Gavin,

Thank you! You were right, I had Annotations turned off. I didn't realize that Annotations controlled the hyperlinks to other videos. I thought Annotations were just the commentary that people added to their videos. I find the commentaries annoying so I had turned them off.

But you're right, turning them back on solved my link problem.

Thanks!!!!!
