AdBlock Plus for Internet Explorer

Post by JayHutch »

Okay, so I'm writing this because you guys asked me how you could improve your product. Well, first of all, I use Internet Explorer instead of Firefox because it loads a lot better. So why don't you have AdBlock Plus for Internet Explorer?

Adblock Plus for Internet Explorer should be available before the end of the year:

What you are searching for is not a fix but an extension. As fanboy clearly stated, it takes time to develop, and shouting is obviously not the best way to make the ABP team do it faster. Stay tuned, or switch to any other browser with ABP in the meantime.

Is this going to be a true version of Adblock Plus, or some kind of TPL addon? I know that TPL in IE can't block video ads, can't collapse elements, and generally doesn't work well or at all on sites like Facebook. I'm hoping they've been able to get around these obstacles and make it like the Firefox/Chrome version, otherwise I don't see what the point would be when adding Fanboy/Easylist to the TPL would do the same thing.

Are you implying that you know it's going to be a true version or are you just asking the same question I am?
