Why doesn't AdBlock Plus 2.2.2 doesn't work anymore?

I've been using it for a while now and it's made YouTube bearable (no ads period) but for some reason it's suddenly stopped working. I have it enabled, so I'm not exactly sure what's wrong? Help?!

are you using AVG toolbar ?

tools ==> add-ons ==> control extensions and plugins ==> disable AVG plugin
if you want remove AVG toolbar from your system you have to uninstall it (but depends how is installed)

Nope. Definitely don't have that installed? Could there be another cause?

I have the same problem and I do not have the AVG Toolbar installed. Ads started showing on sites last Sunday/Monday.
My extensions and very few;
Adblock Plus 2.2.2
Widevine Media Optimizer 6.0.0.12442
I run Firefox 18.0.2 on Windows 7 64-bit and I didn't install anything before Adblock stopped working.
I also went through the list of installed programs in control panel, nothing suspicious.

I installed Simple Adblock 1.0.8 and Adblock Lite 1.4.3 instead

Go into options and make sure Disable Everywhere is unchecked.
