"A Script on this page is causing mozilla to run slowly

I started getting this error about a week ago "A Script on this page is causing mozilla to run slowly." I am given the option to stop running the script.
This has been happening on many different website, all websites that I have visited for years to months.

I started disabling extensions until the error stopped, and after various tests, the Adblock Plus extension is the culprut.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the extension a few times, but that did not fix it.

I have resorted back to the old, regular, Adblock extension, and have not had any problems with it.

Does anyone know how I can fix this. While the old Adblock is nice, Adblock Plus is GREAT, and I would love to continue using it!

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I think I remember reading that disabling "Check DIV Elements" fixes that for some people.
