Launch with Adblock off, ads still blocked.

FF 1.0.4
AB 0.5.8
When I turn Adblock off (extension still installed, but "Adblock" is greyed out in status bar), then quit and relaunch Firefox, ads are still being blocked. I have to toggle Adblock to on then off again before ads are displayed.
Anyone else experiencing this?
