I found this site on twitter. There's a twitter page that rips pwinsider every chance they get called pwspyware. Thanks for the help. The pop ups are too much for me but adblock makes it much better. :D

No redirect or Adblock detection here...

I'm wondering if the the small video on the left of the site should be blocked.

I use adblock for chrome. I just block the entire left side div. Sometimes a video plays on it's own so instead of dealing with it I just block the entire left side column. The owner of the website has been asked by his most loyal readers to at least tone it down with the viruses and the owner (Dave Scherer) just spits in their face.

Chrome adblock is no longer blocking this site. The owner of the site seems intent on forcing his ads and garbage on users.

Because the filter you have in my adblocking list blocks a script loading from dollarade.com so it redirects you. You could either remove that filter or add this whitelist.

Code: Select all

@@||dollarade.com/overlay_gateway.php?oid=$script,domain=watchxonline.net
You can use elements to hide the popup survey but you can't scroll the page. It is still better since you will be able to view the video on the page.

Code: Select all

watchxonline.net##.jveajheuayuevatta
watchxonline.net##.vnealveaijvanef
watchxonline.net##.jveavnnennneanealk
A solution posted Hemingray seems to get rid of the ad and scrolling works. I tested it and works perfectly for me.
This plugin works: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... xceptions/

What I did (as a test: enter "dollarade.com" (no "'s), set EVERYTHING to Deny, click Add site, then close.

Everything at the ceieh.com site plays with no dollarade crud.

http://www.avforums.com can't be viewed with adblock enabled, but it doesn't say anything about deliberately doing this? are any workarounds possible?

Fixed in Adversity...

You will need to wait for which ever list you use to fix the problem and then force an update.
