I have been using 1.0.7 with some trouble with a previous version of AdBlock. I downloaded Adblock_Plus_0.5.10.xpi and it came up with a weird big white space at the bottom of the screen. I tried restarting, but no joy.
I went to Extensions and uninstalled it, then restarted firefox as instructed, and all I get is a blank screen!
My toolbars are all there, including the status bar, and including my links bar which is blank when it should have some links on it. I tried safe mnode and that does not work either. I uninstalled 107 and reinstalled into a fresh directory, and still no joy.
Suggestions?

You could have multiple profiles if the links bar is blank or lost your bookmarks some how. My suggestion is download Firefox 1.5 and follow this thread about creating a new profile with trnasferring your settings across.
