so many ads are not blocked

Post by meocon.sammy »

hello,
i've been using chrome for a long time and used adblock in chrome store, i had hoped ABP could have given me as good result, but it's not. there are so many ads that aren't blocked, i cant block an ad by selecting it, or is it because i dont know how? if it is, can you show me how to block these ads from the page? thank you.

ABP is working using the filter lists ==> be sure to use your regional list + easylist
You can block the images on right click
Click ABP icon, open blockable items list ==> you can see there all the web requests, whitelist, block elements
Install element hiding helper to create your own hiding filters

To report sites / pages with unblocked ads, report to easylist forum: http://forums.lanik.us/
For example, if an arab site report in the specialized subforum: https://forums.lanik.us/viewforum.php?f=98

Most of the filters in the major subscriptions are simple URL patterns, not regexes; this is because the extension optimizes the lookup of short patterns in a way it can't do for regexes: en/deregifier
There's a buzzin' in my brain I really can't explain; I think about it before they make me go to bed.
