Adblock Plus and FF36.0 Problem

Post by darkrats »

Just upgraded from FF35.01 to FF36.0 and found all my AB filters were gone.
Attempted to restore from a AB backup and this was unsuccessful. Nothing happens.
Anyone else have this happen to them?

same issue here. It's a mess, ads are everywhere and i mean ads that open up new pages, like 10 to 15 at a time. i'm not going to use firefox again until this issue is resolved. at its current state firefox is not usable for me

Looks like the problem was that you were running an outdated version of Adblock Plus.

No, you definitely don't have the same issue. Your system is infested with malware.
