ABP makes valid links & part of pages disappear

ABP is causing Yahoo to do some weird things when searching from the address/search bar.

When searching for something like, "dale earnhardt jr", the Yahoo page brings up some links to wikipedia and other related info on the right of the page, but when I click any of them, the page reloads without going to the site and the related info is missing.

When ABP is disabled, clicking a link opens the site that was clicked.

Also, there are ads showing under the related info, but show some non intrusive ads is disabled.

I've tried the following things without any change.

* Uninstalled/reinstalled ABP
* Did a Firefox refresh followed by a reinstall of ABP
* All filters are enabled, up to date and downloaded successfully.

well ... it's weird

in chrome I can't reproduce the issues (no ads, no disappearing elements)
in firefox instead I can reproduce (could be also related to the very complex issue/change 521 ):

what to do:
add this filter

then to open the page (wiki page for example), you have to click twice

Thanks! It's a weird one. I'm notorious for finding weird things. If rare & weird, I'll find it.

I tried the filter, but I couldn't double click fast enough to get it to open correctly. I think the best option is for me to stop using Yahoo as a search engine and/or stick with Chrome.

you don't have to click quickly, click once then again and the page opens normally

well, I use only google and chrome. Firefox only for ABP debugging filters, the list of blockable items (the feature will be add in abp for chrome - it's under review)

Hmmm. When I click once it reloads the page with the wikipedia/related links missing.

I've used Google/Chrome since version 4 but wanted to see what FF offered since it's what I used before Chrome.

if you added the filter (As custom filer) posted above and still doesn't work ... it's working for me
