Problem after system restore

Had everything working fine, love the program.

Had a difficulty with another programs update and had to do a system restore, and of course this restore point predated AdBlocker to Firefox.

Attempted to reinstall AdBlocker, it appears to download the file and hang. Opening Tools, Ad-ons, Extensions shows the program, but with only the very left edge of the download bar green.

Did some of the basic stuff, including deleting the four files and restarting Firefox.

Any suggestions?

Does this work?

1. https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/
2. Right-click the “Add to Firefox” button and choose Save Link As. Save the file somewhere handy, like the desktop.
3. Open the Add-ons Manager, Extensions category.
4. Click the Gear icon near the top right and choose “Install Add-on From File”. Select the file you saved earlier.
