ABP 1.1 or EHH 1.0.6 have started hanging Firefox 3.5.1

Well, any Yahoo sports news page still causes a hang. With ABP disabled, I was able to visit those pages just fine.

Well, it works fine for me. I guess you have another bad regexp. Please try disabling all regular expressions (you can sort the filter list on the column with the exclamation mark, easier than searching out regular expressions individually).

There is - disable all regular expression filters like I suggested above. Which is no different from what I would do. Whatever, I try that myself...

PS: Done - yes, it is a bad regexp filter again, disabling all regular expressions fixes the issue.

PS2: And it is even caused by the same regexp part: "([\D\d]+\.)*". Replace it by "([^\/]*\.)?" in your regular expression (also the one doing "([\D_-]+\.)*") and all is good again.

I fixed the filters by replacing "\D_" with "\w". The Yahoo pages now work.

You shouldn't do that, these regexps still take exponential time - they just might bite you under different circumstances. Better replace the entire block by my suggestion.

I have also had FF hanging for some time while loading Yahoo sports news pages. Now that ABP is disabled, I can access those pages again. So, ABP may be the cause of that hang too.
