ABP 1.1 or EHH 1.0.6 have started hanging Firefox 3.5.1

I don't know which extension it is, but one of them starting hanging Firefox. I was adding a new filter (an element rule I think) when FF hung. I restarted FF, but it hung while reloading my session. I was able to restart with all extensions disabled. So I enabled ABP, and it hung again. Then I disabled ABP (and EHH) and enabled everything else. Now it works normally--except I have no filters.

I have created a lot of filters. Is there any chance that ABP might have a limit to the number of filters it can handle?

I have also had FF hanging for some time while loading Yahoo sports news pages. Now that ABP is disabled, I can access those pages again. So, ABP may be the cause of that hang too.

Well, FF just found an update which appeared to have the same version number as what I tried a moment ago, but I went ahead and tried it too. No effect.

Well, Minefield in Mandriva was handling the same version of AdBlock+ without issues -- until I copied over the patterns.ini file from my Windows machine (which has the problem). At that point, Minefield had the same symptoms.
