Can Adblockplus block Emails with Locky Virus?

Hi. I am interested if Adblock can block Emails with Locky Virus. They say that Locky comes only with emails in Word format: http://linkmailer.de/viren/locky-datei . So I can open this email, but it is dangerous to open the Word Text File in it. Or Adblock can not protect PC from such emails? Thank you.

Locky is a ransomware and Adblock Plus can't replace the anti-malware / anti-virus programs.

it's no 36 000 ways to protect themselves from this kind of thing !
- NEVER open an attachment sent by email even if you recognize the sender's address.
- Use a good antivirus (Kaspersky, Bitdefender, Norton, F-Secure, ESET NOD32...) also use https://www.virustotal.com/ to scan your file online.
- Get regular updates of your system.
- Take the time to inform his friends, his family, his colleagues about this malware to curb its spread.

I am sure that Adblockplus can not block Emails with Locky Virus. If you see any unknown Email-just delete it. You dont need to open it or to open some files which come with this Email.
