fwiw … this is a veritable issue,
mapx. regarding the children and parent
[of]:
the issue being redirection from
tweaktown.com to
tweaktown.com/sp/index.html … text displayed
"ad blocker interference detected …" .
as member
mapx suggested … i disabled all addons
("element-hiding-helper" also disabled) … issue was replicated … using
firefox.
however, when using
chrome … i do not disable any add-ons … bottom of
"status-bar" runs through it's gamut of irl's … finally "
(waiting for extension adblockplus)" appears in status-bar … no
"redirection" enforced. probably this emanates from different version of
abp i am running.
looking at the full source-code
(chrome) … a couple instances of a handler
"isAdblocked" appear … some code to the effect of
Code: Select all
if (isAdblocked && googletag && googletag.cmd) {
googletag.cmd.push( function() { googletag.destroySlots();});
of course, one can stop loading the page before the script loads … and, fortunately, this seems to be at end of source-code … so all relevant data should display fine. i usually hit the "back" button and then click the browser's "x" in address-field to stop loading content.
on the whole … i really appreciate what abp stands for …
(thanks to all in the development team and hi-five to the forums) … and will continue my loyalty.
