it works, I re-tested.
Disable all other blocking addons, keep only ABP enabled.

I made sure there wasn't any other thesimsresource.com related filters (besides the one posted above) and I only have ABP on FireFox, so no other ad block thing is running. It flashed the normal 10 second wait screen at me before forwarding me to their lecture page.
oh well, it's not a big deal. Again, thanks for the help ^__^

Code: Select all

in firefox if does not work, try installing the last dev build of ABP:

Blah, I have no idea what I am doing wrong. I've installed the thing you links to, I've erased all the filters that I've added (even unrelated one) and added back only
@@||glam.com^$script,domain=thesimsresource.com
I also tried adding all 3 listed above, but it's still not working for me ;__;

I guess I'm going to have to just find another site for Sim content, because it's really annoying being lectured each time I try to download something ;__;
and the people who own the site don't even see it as a problem, even though when I do allow ads on their site they have a ridiculous amount of ads, to the point of slowing my computer down ;__;

and it stopped working again ;__;
I really hate thesimsresource.com sometimes since they seem to be actively blocking Adblock plus all the time. So annoying ;__;

I guess I spoke too soon, again. Because now when I surf the site I see this banner at the top of every page reading "It appears you are using an Ad-blocker Plugin!"

screenshot of the banner:

I think those jerks must be looking at these forums and blocking every fix that is posted, because the timing is just too convenient.

clear cookies / cache, test again (using easylist + the filters above, delete other custom filters for the site) , I get no such message.
