Gelbooru bypass ABP now. I have not allowed the website to run any javascript and it still shows (bottom of page). NSFW images only, example image:

There's also an invisible exoclick video ad on iframe (scroll down, leftside). It doesn't load anything but I suspect it could also be used for other nefarious purposes.

Tested with noscript allow/disallow Gelbooru, no joy.

on gelbooru with a clean firefox portable it works, dunno why in my local firefox it doesn't

@mapx there seems to be an addon mucking up the adblock, I'll try uninstalling them one by one to see if anything makes a difference

I tried a clean portable version of firefox with THE SAME EXACT set of addons and all the preferences from my old firefox, applied the custom filters you made (SauceNAO and Gelbooru WEBM).

In the firefox PORTABLE the ads are being blocked.

In the firefox LOCAL the ads are not being blocked. This is with cookies cleared, cache cleared.


I can send you a diagnostic from the adblock watcher if needed.

I will do a full system virus scan now.

If in portable version is all ok, well, it could be some wrong custom filter or a corrupt profile. So, probably you'll have to reset firefox.
