Help with site detecting adblock plus?

has an adblock detector that is very frustrating. It makes you wait 60 seconds to download something (normally its 10) if you use Adblockers. I've tried the filters on this post (forum/viewtopic.php?p=114544#p114544) but they're not working. The last filter on the post makes the page load to the 10 second counter for a moment then reloads the page with their adblock counseling alert.
This site FILLS the page with ads and severely slows down loading which is why I refuse to turn off adblock for it. They're also tricky in that you cannot leave the page and do something else on another window or tab as the counter will stop unless you stay on that page and stare at them chastising you for blocking their irritating ads. I'm fine with unintrusive ads but this site is pushing it. Any help would be appreciated.
