Hello.
A few days ago I started encountering the "Sponsored post" Facebook ads for the first time since they started attempting to circumvent AdBlock. Back then I was able to solve the problem by installing UBlock origin, but that no longer seems to work. Now I am reduced to manually removing the offending posts with UBlock's element picker, but it never seems to do any good, more just keep popping up.
I tried reading up on the topic but I'm not very technically proficient. I installed Grease Monkey but have no idea what to do with it. As it stands, I'm still getting the ads and it's causing me quite a bit of stress. Would anyone be so kind as to walk me through what needs to be done?

I know how to add a custom filter.mapx wrote:if you don't know how to add custom filters:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=42013
But that's not the language I understand when I see: Code: Select all.
Simplicity...
Thank you.

I've started to get sponsored posts again just today after installing the script for greasemonkey late last year. It seems Facebook found a workaround.

Yes, the script seems to not work anymore. I started to get sponsored posts again these days. Anyone found a solution yet?
