sattanclaus wrote:For 9 days this filter "facebook.com##[data-xt]" worked great. Today I saw again sponsored ads, and I inspected post attributes, it seems Facebook removed the attribute "data-xt" from sponsored ads. They now use all same attributes for sponsored and non-sponsored ads, so there is no way to differentiate between them. Will post a solution as soon as I find it!

I don't care which ads they show. If it's an ad, I don't want to see it all.
Sponsored or not. Have you found the solution?

I started at the end and clicked backward, because that's where the relevant information is.
If I missed your next post or you found the solution, I'll edit this later.

Thank you.

then go to https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/22210 ... nsponsored
click "install this script"
Didn't do anything for me. I'm still seeing ads on the right hand side, instead of the news feed. I'm using Firefox, newest version.

mapx,

Please remember that there are some of us (me) that do not understand your instructions.
For Code: Select all
facebook.com###rightCol -

Is this added to ADP filters or to GM? A few details are appreciated.

Was just on FB and I have both sponsored and right-side ads.
Just installed the script suggested 12/1. Sponsored ads are gone for now.

Thank you.

Good morning.

Facebook is extremely annoying lately. I never had any problems with ADP, NoScript and Kaspersky Internet Security installed (+ userstyle.org template to get rid of the right column). But as of yesterday i get a suggested post every f***ing 6th post on my timeline. Every 6th post is an ad! I am so busy hiding them and telling them that it's spam or inapropriate (in hope i'll never see those ads again) that my bloodpressure skyrockets.

My ABP is updated. I manually included the filter that i found for facebooks massive ad spam. But i still get all these suggested posts.

Pls tell me there is something you can do about it?! Since my timeline gets so many posts each hour i do have to block between 50 and 100 totally random ads a day :'(

for the right column you don't need userstyles, just add
facebook.com###rightCol

for the FB crap did you install (in greasemonkey) the userscript here:

Thanks, i now installed greasemonkey. I really hope this will do it :)

As for the userstyles: I simply love them :) I changed the look of my facebook completely and i still wanna see suggested groups and so far that works fine with the style that i'm using :)

Why now I am fine without greasemonckey? (my last post on previous page). I dont understand. Do ads depend from the country? maybe mine is "ads free"? hmmmm
