NSFW Gelbooru unable to be used without its ads

Gelbooru seems to have their entire site connected to ads, with Adblock Plus turned on you can't do anything with the site. Does anyone here know how to have Gelbooru work without the ads and Adblock Plus on?

I'm a complete newbie at using Adblock besides turning it on and off, if it comes down to adding filters someones going to have to do a tutorial or something.

There's no images including the ads, which completely defeats the purpose of going to the site. It looks entirely bare-bones, you can click on links but there's no images.

No issues for me, I can see all the images.
Did you update your lists ?
What filter lists are enabled in ABP ? (click ABP icon, filter preferences, filter subscriptions tab)
Be sure not using other blocking addons (ghostery, disconnect, anti banner ...)

Check also if you have custom filters for gelbooru

I use EasyList and it's updated. The only other thing I can think of that might possibly interfere is NoScript but even disabling it and having Adblock on still does the same thing. I don't have any custom filters for Gelbooru.

This doesn't seem to be the issue mapx.

I am able to use Gelbooru but they seem to have bypassed the adblock filter.

Last time you advised to use

But even with these custom filters in place, it is not possible to block the WebM ads in the bottom of screen when loading an NSFW page or looking through tags.


See the sidebar issue also, this happens when NOT viewing an image

Old custom filter removed and the two you suggested is applied.

The filter you suggested does not work

The ads are still present and sidebar issue persists

I test with two adblockers, ABP and uBlock Origin (one is disabled at the moment of testing).

Using uBlock on clean copy + current firefox using the custom filter did nothing (same issue).

Using ABP on a clean copy did work. However, this isn't the case with my current firefox copy.


I'll reset and report back.
