1337x: Requesting block syntax

Post by xtcmax »

Hello.
How do I block dynamic Class ID on 1337x showing my IP and location?

URL:

Code: Select all

http://1337x.to/torrent/1915775/Building-the-Internet-of-Things-Implement-New-Business-Models-Disrupt-Competitors-Transform-Your-Industry-2016-WWRG/
It would be nice if some smart person would write a couple of lines educating me on how to block dynamic links so I don't come here bothering you every time I need to block something stupid.

Thank you in advance.

Smed79,
thank you for the fast reply, however the provided solution does not block the whole blue div I want to remove. Below is the image of that I want to be gone:

The blue div has a dynamic name which always changes.

I have a couple of questions for you as well.

1. How did you know where to look for the ip.php ?
2. I am using FF 50.0. When I do Inspect Element, I am usually in Inspector/Rules tabs. If you are using FF as well, where would I look for scripts if I run into similar problem in the future? (i mean which tabs of thee Inspect Element feature)

Thank you in advance.

add

Code: Select all

1337x.to##.torrent-category-detail.clearfix:first-child + [class]
||cdn.1337x.to/ip.php
use and install EHH (element hiding helper) which is working together ABP to create your own hiding filters:

Code: Select all

1337x.to##.torrent-category-detail + [class] > A[id]
or

Code: Select all

1337x.to##.torrent-category-detail + [class]

my filters above still working.

EHH does nothing if you don't use it ==> use it to select on screen / page what you want to hide ==> EHH will help you to create hiding filters.

There must be some difference in the code, because in the gaming section that IP bar is gone, but when I go to movie section the IP bar is still there:

URL:

Code: Select all

http://1337x.to/torrent/1916420/The-Walking-Dead-S07E06-HDTV-x264-DEFiNE-ettv/
The child is still under "torrent-detail clearfix", but it is not blocked.

I am trying to understand what would be the difference in syntax in blocking this IP bar from Movie Section, for example:

Code: Select all

http://1337x.to/torrent/1916420/The-Walking-Dead-S07E06-HDTV-x264-DEFiNE-ettv/
And from the Games section, where it is being blocked by the filters you gave me:

Code: Select all

http://1337x.to/torrent/1916014/Wrestling-Revolution-3D-v1-571-Mod-Unlocked-Apk-XpoZ/

try

Code: Select all

||cdn.1337x.to/ip.php
1337x.to##[class$="-detail clearfix"] + [class] > A[id][href]
Don't post clickable links, wrap links in bbcode notation

Code: Select all

[/b]

Mapx,
I am trying to learn it, seems like I am missing a point somewhere. In the image blow I've selected that blue IP div in EHH

Code: Select all

http://s6.postimg.org/qolpc3u5t/screenshot_147.jpg
But it does not give me any options or code close to the one that smed gave me. Can you explain me what exactly do I need to do? I am not a programmer. Maybe you know some scripting language that helps you to write those filters?

How exactly would you use EHH and create a filter that would block that IP div?
