It is still slow from time to time...

So the super extreme lag issue seems to be somewhat fixed.

I say somewhat because it will still lag from time to time. Like after every one hours or so it will lag for about 20 to 30 seconds.


Please look into the matter.

go to about:config

search for extensions.adblockplus.patternsbackups

change the value to 0 or 1 (from 5) ==> the number of backups.

Then you should create a backup (backup.ini for example), close FF, go into FF profile, browser-extension-data folder, delete storage.js
Reopen FF, restore from backup.ini

The backup is available only for the 2.9.1 version (which wont be supported anymore since FF 57). It's in "filter preferences" at the bottom.

However you should install the new ABP from:
