ABP is off but blocks all

Post by Schohni »

Win 10; Firefox 54.0.1 (32-Bit)

Have deactivated my ABP but I receive a lot of hints from the respective sites that my adblocker is on.
And because it is already off I cannot do anything.

Try a firefox portable, clean profile, install ABP, disable it, test again.
If it works then create a new profile in your stable FF and reinstall ABP.

1 Thank you all.
2 The procedure to solve my problem remembers me on my early days in father's garage when we tried our first progs and improvised much: You lower the voltage and add spaces in the prog, then spray some cooling liquid on the processor and hold the +5volts line in between your fingers.
3 Such procedures prove this program is "Made in Garage"
4 Programs needing such procedures are no reliable companions und are a danger for us.
5 Such programs may collect informations about you.
6 Such programs are not reliable at all.
7 Such programs must be removed immediately.

So, I now delete this junk. Hope, that there are no relics left then. Whatta mess!

Well, delete what you want.

Your current FF profile could be corrupt, so for this reason I suggested to try FF portable + ABP
