I use Duolingo. Before I blocked the wrong_answer.mp3 and the lesson_failed.mp3 directly because it was visible on the list of blockable content.
||s3.amazonaws.com/duolingo-data/s3/sounds/wrong_answer.mp3 and ||s3.amazonaws.com/duolingo-data/s3/sounds/lesson_failed.mp3 respectively.
Apparently they moved the sound locations to and is no longer visible on blockable content:
||d35aaqx5ub95lt.cloudfront.net/sounds/wrong_answer.mp3 and and ||d35aaqx5ub95lt.cloudfront.net/sounds/lesson_failed.mp3 respectively.
The js that uses these sounds are located at https://d35aaqx5ub95lt.cloudfront.net/j ... 11a9db0.js
I have read from http://lifehacker.com/everything-you-ca ... 1469861264 (2013) and elsewhere that js files can have specific elements blocked and it seems like if I am correctly blocking the mp3 that the script is accessing it shouldn't play?
What am I missing? What can I do to block these sounds? Any further ideas? Thank you.

Re: Duolingo mp3 blocking
Nevermind. User error on my part. I accidentally added the wrong_answer.mp3 to the exceptions. Works the way I wanted.
