As I found out there are more and more webpages which complain about an Adblocker.
The ask the user to disable the AdBlocker.
BUT: Adblock Plus on Firefox v55.0.3 under Win 7 is already completly disabled.
So I guess the Adblocker-check procedure of the webpage does not check if its ads are blocked but if the AdBlocker is installed (and possibly disabled).
So I am forced not only to disable the AdBlocker Plugin but to uninstall it
Can this be?

Webpages request to disable already disabled Adblocker?
Re: Webpages request to disable already disabled Adblocker?
A site can't tell whether an ad-blocker is installed directly, but only by whether certain resources are blocked or hidden; do you have a custom UserStyle or UserScript that hides certain content for you, or maybe an ad-blocking HOSTS file?
There's a buzzin' in my brain I really can't explain; I think about it before they make me go to bed.
