Unable to deactivate Adblock Plus

It happens to me frequently that a page requires that I deactivate adblock plus. Usually, I don't mind deactivating, but very often after selecting "deactivate on: ..." the page continues to request that I deactivate adblock. Maybe this is a filter issue, but I can't tell.
