Adblock Plus

Running Linux 4.13.11-200.fc26.x86_64, Firefox 56 (64 bit), and AdBlock Plus 3.0.1

We often get a YOUTUBE video that will not play (black screen only).

In order to fix this, we
a) diable AdBlock
b) run a couple seconds of the video (working now with AD)
c) kill the video
d) re-enable AdBlock
e) can not play video

This is a royal PITA and needs to be done more often than desired.

I guess the Ad software is now killing things if AdBlock+ is on.

Just here to bump this post. This only started happening to me moments ago, and it's EXTREMELY annoying. It also doesn't matter if adblock is on or off. I turn it off, the video is still black screen. Have it on, leave the page, turn it off, go back, no change. Leave it on, ad doesn't play regardless, black screen. Restart browser, on or off, no change. This is a serious issue.

- try on a clean profile in FF or use a firefox portable with / without ABP
- if still happens could be a (your) YT profile issue

Same problem for me but in chrome.

I tried following things.

My normal account + adblock = No ad but Blackscreen (Sound is fine)
No Account + Adblock = No ad and i can see the video
New Account + Adblock = No ad and i can see the video

This only happens with my old account + adblock. Everything else is fine.
I even connected the new account to my old (now i can switch in top right corner between both in 2 clicks) and it still worked, but only until i switched to my old one.

Anybody any idea?
