AdBlock+ cannot be disabled on local webpages

I have some local HTML files with anti-adblock protection in them.
How do I disable AdBlock Plus for ALL local files?

I tried to modify this line in Firefox:
extensions.adblockplus.whitelist;{"amazon.en":true}

to this:
extensions.adblockplus.whitelist;{"amazon.en":true,"@@file:///":true}

but it doesn't work!

I searched and found your post when I have this problem of certain items not showing up via 'iFrame' in a local file. I created an Exception for my local files in a certain directory, but some items are not loading into view.

Finally, I tried turning of some Filter Lists. I found the one. By Disabling 'EasyList', I can now view my local and 'iFrame' and 'Object' and 'Embed' items that were blocked. Something in 'EasyList' is blocking some local items, but not all items. While some 'iFrame' items were blocked, other similar ones were not.

And yes, I find that I can disable AdBlockPlus on sites, but NOT my local disk. AdBlockPlus, are you aware of this?
