how to turn off updating in v2.9.1

I've downgraded to v2.9.1 and have been looking for a way to turn off updating/upgrading but I don't see this option anywhere. Could someone walk me through this and show me exactly where this option is to be found. Thanks...

go into add-ons, double click ABP addon, set automatic updates to OFF

Before, when I was looking for the Automatic Updates line and the Last Updated line, they weren't there (at least since I downgraded to v2.9.1...I do remember them there previously). But when I followed your suggestion and double clicked on the Adblock Plus line, those two lines magically appeared and now they seem back to stay. Thanks for the help, and it's good to have the block element unit working again.

Please tell me how to disable automatic updates.

If this is not possible, then I must discontinue your services. My employer DOES NOT ALLOW third parties to control what happens on my computer.

I have attemptedf to find the so-called add-ons but there doesn't seem to be such a thing in this new update you tried to install.
