I can't remove "Love your local Journalism" Banner

Post by bearpeje »

I am using Adblock plus on Firefox. It is brilliant in blocking unwanted ads, but I have a problem with a Newsquest local newspaper site. For the past few days, I have had a banner permanently across the foot of the pages, "Love your local Journalism ?" with a button marked 'Turn adblocker off'.

I have tried 'Block Element' and added the four sections that make up the banner to my filter list. This removes the banner, but it returns, as soon as I refresh the page, or move to another story.

Does anyone have an idea how to permanently block this banner please ?

I don't understand why you would direct me away from this Adblock Plus forum ?
