Adblock Plus

Using the element hiding helper causes Minefield to crash often.

I'm running the latest dev builds of Firefox, ABP, and the Element Hiding Helper
WinXP 32bit

It would be helpful, if you could post the build ids of adblock plus, element hiding helper and Minefield. It helps to track down issues.
For example, here is mines

Adblock Plus 1.3a.20100828
Element Hiding Helper for Adblock Plus 1.1a.20100819
Minefield 4.0 b5 pre

Btw, the versions of adblock plus and element hiding helper are the latest ones available when i am writing this post. If you are not running the latest version try updating them. I would also recommend you to update your Minefield version if you are not running the latest Dev build.

I've started to notice this also, attempting to select an element with element hider.. brings down firefox. I thought turning off the rendering mode to = 0 wouldve helped, it didnt.

can confirm. Occurs in the latest hourly builds.

Same adblock plus and element dev builds as i have mentioned earlier.

Minefield crashes only when the element hiding helper dialog popups. I lets me select the elements and when i click the left mouse button to select, the element hiding helper dialog opens. Within a second Minefield crashes.

When i tried with Jaegermonkey builds it doesnt occur. I guess because jaegermonkey builds are based on old commit and not the latest one.

General note: The most important info in case of crashes is always the crash report. Send it in and then get the link to the report from about:crashes.

To reproduce the error, visit a site and then click select an element to hide (you can also use shortcut), then move around, don't select any element. Minefield would crash within seconds of moving around.

This crash doesn't occur on Firefox 4.0 b5 Build 1 and Minefield 4.0 pre b6
