Default actions

Post by theinvoker »

I saw i can change some default actions in about:config

Now i'm trying to do the same thing for Element Hiding Helper
1)when i delete a DIV (or something else) from a website i'd like it to be for the whole domain
Example: *.myspace.com and not messaging:myspace.com
We can chose it on the left of the window but can i set it by default?

2)I can change the defaut action of the toolbar button, but i couldn't find a way to set it on "select with element hiding helper"

thanks

No, Element Hiding Helper isn't as configurable as Adblock Plus. Given that I am going to revisit that in the next few days, I might add a preference for the default suggestion.

As to default action for the ABP icon - sorry, it's an Adblock Plus icon, not an Element Hiding Helper icon.

This has been implemented: https://hg.adblockplus.org/elemhidehelp ... 743b914a4a
Next development build and Element Hiding Helper 1.1 will have a preference extensions.elemhidehelper.composer_defaultDomain. If the full host name is www.foo.example.co.uk, here is what will be pre-selected depending on the value of this preference:

0: Any domain (not recommended)
1: co.uk (top-level domain name only)
2: example.co.uk (second-level domain name)
3: foo.example.co.uk (full host name minus www prefix)
-1: www.foo.example.co.uk (full host name unchanged)
