I think they're built-in (after inspecting the page-load with Firebug), so blocking them would require blocking the player itself; also element-hiding rules do not work, because those icons are within plugin content rather than their own HTML element.

Thanks lewisje...
I actually didn't see any facebook or twitter icons but they are quite often "built in" and blocking then with ABP is not possible.
I did clean up the site a little though...

another one:
those new "share with your friends" boxes on youtube when you "like" a video
(they can be closed, but closing them every time is rather tedious)

no not perhaps, definitely
just like with favoring videos and subscribing to channels, you need an account to "(dis)like" videos

Does not look like blocking is an option.
Code: Select all
youtube.com###watch-like-share-services
Will hide them but I'm not sure if they should be hidden (I'm open to debate).
For people that are logged in and use the like button the facebook and twitter functions might be useful.

but the whole point of your anti-social subsricption is to be anti-facebook & anit-twitter, isnt it?
if people like that sort of stuff, they wont be subscribed to anit-social in the first place
please block it

I don't see it, please force a subscription update and recheck.
Thanks.

Ok, that did the trick. Force a subscription update and it should be blocked.
