Is anyone of you seeing ads on YouTube searches with Adblock

Since just recently, I have run into a problem on YouTube where I now see ads on searches, even when I have Adblock Plus on. For example, I search "quartz mainline riders live" on YouTube, and I see "Mainline Menswear - Summer Sale Final Reductions" on the top. I have tried Google Chrome. I have the latest version of Adblock Plus (3.5.2). Does anyone else have this?

Yes, I have been. It started for me earlier this week when even though I had adblock plus activated, it seemed unable to block ads on you tube and on yahoo.

I've reported it, but nothing seems to be being done. Any suggestions?

It's worse today -- many sites (not just You Tube and Yahoo) have numerous ads embedded in the text or on the margin.

When I check, Adblock Plus says it's activated, but does not block any of the ads. Has it been circumvented by hackers? I've reported this but see or hear nothing whatsoever back, and the infestation of ads is getting worse!

Based on a suggestion in another thread, I tried subscribing to Easylist (subscriptions#type_ads), updated all my filters, and it now seems to be working!

I have done the same, and it's still not blocking search result ads on YouTube.

(only in Firefox, not Safari) ABP was working fine until 2-3 days ago when I began seeing ads on blogs and youtube. Biggest problem is on youtube: with ABP enabled I see youtube banner only but no page content. I have to disable ABP to view/play videos, with annoying ads. I have the latest version of ABP and latest Firefox. I finally had to switch to Safari where I do not have this problem. I've been reporting the problem, but do not know what to do as I am not a "tech" person. I prefer Firefox but can’t use it now because of this problem. Very, very frustrated ... any suggestions?

Apologies for the delayed response! Can you confirm what filter lists you are currently using? We will run a few test on our end and get back to you with a resolution.
