Newbie question for blocking elements

Post by am_dew »

Newbie here...

I have blocked a large number of "google_ads_iframe" elements on wunderground.com but I would like to also block them from other sites as well. I see lots of these and similar in my filter list:

wunderground.com###google_ads_iframe_\/7646\/web_wunderground_us\/local_forecasts\/today_1
wunderground.com###google_ads_iframe_\/7646\/web_wunderground_us\/local_forecasts\/today\/_0
wunderground.com###google_ads_iframe_\/7646\/web_wunderground_us\/local_forecasts\/today_2

What I would like to do is to have all the google_ads_iframe elements blocked regardless of what site I visit? Is this possible? I read the help on custom filters but could not figure out how.

Thanks!

Hi there!

Many apologies for the delay, but we do not want to cover site-specific filter questions in the Adblock Plus forum.

The Adblock Plus project is deliberately not involved in authoring filters. The best place to get help for such questions is the forum of a filter list project such as EasyList.
https://forums.lanik.us. I hope this helps!
