ABP suddenly not accepting Adblock Filters by Gurud.ee

My ABP extension in Firefox no longer accepts the filter list from:

I keep refresing the list, and it pops back to the following error:

Active http://gurud.ee/ab.txt Failed, not a valid address


The filter list URL loads fine, I copy/pasted the header above.

Suggestions how to get ABP to accept this filter list again?

May I get some assistance on this...

With the current ABP version in Firefox, this filter list is still not loading.

Since the list URL brings up what looks like a valid ABP filter list, I am puzzled why ABP states it is not valid.

I have a great update for you! The reason or this error is because the list doesn't yet have a https certificate. We reached out to the filter list maintainer and they will have this certificate soon.

Excellent find!

I came back to post that the SeaMonkey ABP v2.9.1 has no issue downloading that same list. Seems you found the reason already that the newer ABP for Firefox quit downloading it.

No, not a workaround for Firefox. SeaMoneky I use as an email client. That has a back leveled ABP since it still runs on the old extension format. The ABP extension for SeaMonkey has not gotten updated in some time. That older version still accepts the Gurud.ee list via http:// URL.

Some change / update is needed for the latest ABP on the latest Firefox.

I checked again today... now the Known Adblock Plus subscription list has an updated URL for this filter list, and...
