Adblock Plus

AdBlock Plus has not worked in Firefox for a couple of months now. I am constantly having to "report issue" to AdBlock Plus stating that ads are not being blocked. But I am starting to feel that it is pointless. AdBlock Plus is not doing anything about it nor do they contact me on it.

I am starting to wonder if it is my end being that this is an ongoing issue and none of my reports seem to matter.

How can I fix this once and for all?

Please create an issue report (https://help.eyeo.com/en/adblockplus/report-an-issue) while on any of these pages and then send us the link to the report so we can investigate further. You may also consider updating your ABP version and your filter lists. Let us know if this helps!

Ad Blocker Plus worked very well for me for along time, but just in the past few weeks, it has been failing to block many ads on various sites. Did something suddenly happen in the past few weeks? Have sites figured out how to bypass your software? Please offer any help you can in getting us back to where we were a month ago. Thanks

Nice to see I'm not the only with problems. I've been getting ads on Yahoo recently.

I'm using the standard filters ABP Filters and EasyList. Unfortunately I can't provide a screen image because I get adult ads from, I think, ImageTwist and I immediately block those.

chichi - thanks for responding. I uninstalled and reinstalled, and now it appears to be working much better. Thanks

@LiamA, I wasn't able to reproduce the issue on my end. Does a reinstall resolve the issue similar to @Monkeyman61.

The more you use AdBlock Plus, the more it's configured to your specific preferences. Certain pages are able to display ads while others are completely blocked. In some cases, blocking ads on specific sites can keep them from working properly.
