EASE OF USE issue with changing settings

Post by Nigan »

Hello everyone,,
Firstly, the Adblock post install screen is not good. How many people are going to scroll down to see that you can additionally enable a few extra things? Also, where are the options to DISABLE those very same things? Namely the social media buttons? For a specific instance I needed them enabled once. But really, why not have that same screen, with the on/off buttons, in the options somewhere. It's common sense "keep it simple, stupid." Other than that adblock plus rules. Thanks.

Hi Nigan!

Thanks for your feedback about the issues you are having with settings. Are UI team appreciates this kind of feedback and will keep it in mind for future updates. The good news is, we are planning an alternative to the post install page. As many users have complaints about this. To make sure I understand your issue correctly, on the sites you mentioned, you only wanted to enable ABP once or you wanted to enable the social media icons once on each site? We look forward to your follow up!

Thanks

Similarly,
the basic/free version has now reload/install every time when the browser is freshly loaded, with the same old version. And also forgets the basic settings, so having to reset the options as desired. This includes language. Please restore the functions to remember the last settings.
Thanks,
DYK
