I really liked adblock plus, but the excess memory & cpu usage has driven me away from using it.
Right now I am using adfender, but it does not work on https.

Thinking about using PrivDog. Has anyone used PrivDog?

A simple lookup of PrivDog comes up with how to remove malware (https://malwaretips.com/threads/how-to- ... dog.43579/). If you want low CPU and memory usage your best bet is uBlock Origin.
