ABP stopped putting an icon in Firefox toolbar.

Post by mccfrank »

This happened a short time ago. It makes it difficult to turn off ABP when a website requests it.
I have to go into the toolbat tools menu, go to extensions and then remove ABP.
Doe anybody know how to get the icon back ?

Thanks

I'm getting a similar issue. ABP is not present as an icon in the toolbar whenever YouTube is opened in Firefox. I then have to go to the Add-Ons page, toggle the On/Off display button, and then reload the YouTube page. It will then show up. But it isn't blocking those overlay ads like it used to, and when I try to do the "block element" nothing happens.

I would really like a solution to this issue. What's the point of having this as an add-on if it shuts itself off, and even worse, stops working properly?
