Adblock Plus has to reinstall every day -- cannot restore

I need some help. Here's the message I get every morning when restarting my Firefox browser (latest version).

"It seems that an issue caused all filters to be removed and we were unable to restore a backup. Therefore we had to reset your filters and Acceptable Ads settings. Please check your filter lists and Acceptable Ads settings in the Adblock Plus options."

Consequently, all my whitelisted sites are reset. It's like I'm using Adblock for the very first time, i.e., daily installation. This is very annoying ... is there a fix so this daily refresh does not need to occur? Or is this a software bug in need of attention?

I appreciate any advice or direction from the community. THX!
