How to close Youtube Ads

Postby mattyork » Tue Jun 02, 2020 11:06 pm

Hello All, I am fairly new to ABP. I could'nt find answer in here so I'll have to explain my issue which is probably simple to fix for you all...but I just can't find how...

When going to Youtube .com principle page at the top, they push an Advert and included a "Nearby Ad" connect at the base right of the advert, anyway I might want this to leave, the Ad itself, the "Nearby Ad" connection or catch whatever that is . Should this be possible and how might I approach advising Adblock Plus to channel this irritating Ad and recoup the space it is taking? I am extremely new to ABP so I need bit by bit directions.

Do the following steps:
1. Log in to YouTube.
2. Click your profile picture, then go to YouTube Studio.
3. Select Videos from the left menu.
4. Select the video for which you want to turn off any ads.
5. Click Monetization in the left menu.
6. click Off and Apply the changes.
7. Click Save in the upper right.
