Fanboy's Social Blocking List

Post by Odin999 »

I don't subscribe to social media sites like Facebook, although I'm registered at some question-and-answer sites. Is there any point to my subscribing on ABP to Fanboy's Social Blocking List? Is it advisable to delete it?

Even if you never visit any of those social media sites, their code and tracking does exist on all sorts of other websites as well (e.g. to enable websites to offer a Facebook login, to embed YouTube videos or Facebook comments, etc.). So if you would like to block those, that filter list could still be helpful for you.
